Beauticode was a gallery of free, beautiful web templates.
Most free web templates are ugly or designed for a very specific audience, Beauticode acted as a gallery of free web templates that don't suck. The project was ongoing for some time, despite the lack of beautiful and free web design templates, but has since been retired.
Just five months after launch, Beauticode had served over 6,000 template downloads and over 5,000 RSS feed requests a day.
